From the artists...
This is a summer to winter and fall transition. It begins with palm trees and a sunset into a crisp fall and brisk winter with mountains and snow covered fir trees. I used acrylic paints on a Masonite board. I chose these because this was the best option to fit the windows and I usually work with acrylic. I hope the individuals who come across this piece feel at ease and feel tranquil while looking at this comforting scene. I want this piece to add vibrance and life to the classroom in ways that will make individuals feel more alive and calm. -Camryn F.
My Artwork has the appearance of space, composed of several planets and stars. I used Spray paint and acrylic paint to create my art. A good technique I used was lightly spraying paint on to the canvas to make spotted dots and to create the illusion that some planets are far. I hope that when someone sees this art they remember how much the world has to offer and life is bigger than we imagine. This brings me peace and makes all my problems feel small and I hope I can remind others in the same way. -Trinity K.
