THE HEART OF HAMPTON AWARD
Purpose: The Heart of Hampton Award is presented by the Hampton Alliance for Educational Excellence (HAEE) and recognizes individuals or groups who have demonstrated exceptional commitment, innovation, and dedication to enhancing the educational experience within the Hampton Township School District.
Eligibility: The award is open to teachers, administrators, students, parents, community members, or organizations who have made significant contributions to the district. Recipients may include those who have lived or worked in Hampton Township and impacted educational excellence, supported innovative programs, or contributed positively to the Hampton Township School District community.
Selection Criteria: The Heart of Hampton Award celebrates those who exemplify the spirit of excellence and innovation, reflecting HAEE’s mission to foster outstanding educational experiences in the Hampton Township School District. Nominees are evaluated on the basis of of the following criteria:

- Commitment to Excellence: Shows consistent dedication to improving educational outcomes, supporting students, or fostering a positive learning environment through efforts or initiatives.
- Impact on the Community: Contributes to the broader Hampton Township community in a way that strengthens students' academic, athletic, or artistic achievement. Supports student growth in these areas through community engagement, organizations, and opportunities.
- Commitment to Community: Demonstrates an ability to see multiple perspectives and experiences, tolerance for differences, and appreciation of diversity within our Hampton community.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Exhibits outstanding leadership qualities or acts as a mentor, providing guidance and support to others in a manner that inspires and empowers students, colleagues, or community members.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Engages in meaningful partnerships or collaborative efforts that advance educational objectives, athletic achievement, or artistic excellence, facilitates cross-disciplinary work, or builds strong relationships within the school district and the community.
